Er. Umakanta Sahoo is currently working as Assistant Executive Engineer at OPTCL (Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Ltd). He delivered a talk on “Overview of Power System” on Engineers Day (15.09.2022).

Mr. Amit Kumar, an alumnus of batch 2014-2017 (Civil Engg.), currently working as Planning and billing engineer of sewage and STP project in TATA PROJECT LIMITED discussed with the students regarding the future scope in civil engineering in different field and encouraged the students to contribute the society as a civil engineer on date 15/9/2022.

Dr Ashutosh Nandi, an alumnus of 1999 batch (Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering), presently working as the Assistant Professor in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, NIT Kurukshetra. He has presented on “Advancements in VLSI Design” on dt: 06-07-2022 as a guest lecture to the final year students.

Er. Rudra Narayan Pradhan is Asst. Prof. from Odisha University of Technology and Research (OUTR). He is currently pursuing his PhD at IIT, Roorkee. He delivered a talk titled “Indian Electrical Power Sector scenario and Introduction to Microgrid on Date 25.06.2022.

Name: Silpa Priyadarshini Das Designation: Asst. Professor (Ajay Binay Institute of Technology) Discussion topic: Introduction to Mix design of Concrete Date-24/6/22 Had a discussion session with the 3rd year students of civil engineering regarding the concrete mix design with reference to the mix design code. As concrete has a vital role in civil engg now a days it will help the students to fulfill the work deemed in their respective fields as a civil engineer.

Mr. Manoj Ku Barik, Head – Material Engineering Group, Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery Pvt. Ltd , an alumnus of batch 2007 has delivered a talk on the topic “Case Carburising Treatment of Transmission Gear to Improve Its Mechanical Properties” on Dt:25/04/2022 to the final year students of Metallurgy department.

Mr. Subarno Bhattacharya, an alumnus of 2014 batch (Mechanical Engineering) currently working as a Asst. Registrar, JIS Group of Educational Initiatives, Kolkata. He presented the topic “Career Progression” to motivate the final year students on 13th March 2021.

Ms. Moumita Sarkar, an alumna of batch 2011-2014 (Comp. Sc Engg.) presently working as software developer in ITC Infotech, Bangalore suggested the juniors to learn new things for keeping updated. She also shared her experience and memorable moments during their student days in KP.

Mr. Prasana Kumar, an alumnus of batch 1996-1999 (Civil Engg.), currently working as General Manager Highways, Almond Global Infra Consultant Ltd, Noida highlighted the importance of infrastructure sector for development of a country 13/3/2021. He advised the current students to be more skillful.

Mr. Chinmay Keshari Routray, an alumnus of 2006 batch (Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering) currently working as a Senior Member of Technical Staff-III (Operations), Mavenir Systems, Bangalore. He presented the topic “Network management” to the final year students as an industry expert on 13th march 2021.
